Metal Slug X (AES4ALL Beta 4)

comradesnarky's note: These NFOs were written as though the games (sound and no sound) were to be released separately, but it's a small enough download that it shouldn't be a problem this and testing both of your own accord. Which NFO is for which version of the game is labeled. No sound will definitely be the preferred version here, it runs very smoothly. I tapped out on playing the version with sound towards the end of the second level.

For the reading impaired: This version includes a sound and no sound version. They are both in the same download. One is labeled [No.Sound]. This one runs the best.

No Sound:
Ok here we go why would we do this with no sound you ask? Well because it runs perfectly and who can't supply their own soundtrack by other methods? Don't want the smoothest running version of the game? Well then go grab the other release we did with the audio. It only has minimal slow downs and it very playable. We here at RDC are all about giving you choices when it comes to your games. We have a few more releases ready to go jus waiting on the artwork to arrive as I have no access to a scanner and I am not artist so once comrade gets ahold of the manuals & covers I sent him we have something neat for you all. And that isn't all I finally obtained a rare PAL disc I have been hunting and it is on it's way to me which means it will soon be in your hands as well. Best of all until now I didn't even know it had a cover so it's an added bonus as we get official scans!! BTW how you like our new digs, I think it makes our NFO's stand out!!

Sound:
Well you had to see this one coming now didn't you? We had done all the other Metal Slug games so why not this one you ask? Well here we are and with the latest update from chui. This one has sound and a mild overclock of 10% to try and correct some off the slow down. It isn't perfect but it is playable, more so now then ever. I have been having a blast with this game. Not sure why it gets knocked on so much in the series. Then again I never understood the obsession with SNK games at all. Give me Sega or give me nothing!! Got a few more releases coming your way with no end in sight have no fear there but until then enjoy the new artwork. We have a few more of the un-ripped USA set on it's way as well for all  you collectors like myself that just must have a complete set even though there are PAL rips of them around.
