Why? Sony and Microsoft both have lost money for every system they've sold since launch.  Especially Sony with them pushing Blu-Ray and all.  The Wii is only one that is profitable.

If this number is based on Game publishing alone...which your thread suggests...I call bullshit.  Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony did not sell enough games in that period of time to warrant that massive of a gain or loss in revenue.  Hardware sales aren't "publisher" numbers.  I would love to see the real profits from the publishing divisions of the hardware makers.

So, what this is saying is that Microsoft Publishing, who in this time period released titles like Forza 2, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, and Halo 3, lost 574 million dollars.  I call bullshit.

It makes sense for all of those. I can believe Disney and Nintendo for sure. Microsoft I can believe that if that included hardware sales. And we can see Sony obviously has no advertising experience
