Magic Knight Rayearth
« on: January 18, 2008, 07:36:47 AM »
Magic Knight Rayearth was the very last game to be released for the Saturn in the U.S. and it was a damn good one.
And seeing as how I haven't seen this around on many other sites so I decided to rip it myself.

It is fun as heck, if just a little on the bubbley side of things.

Working Designs did an astounding job with the translation too. None of the dialog sounds like Engrish and is all around well acted out. Lots of humor too.
Not a genre defining epic, but still damn fun. Plus it has funny out takes from the voice actors once you collect all (80?) of the hidden crystals in the game.

This was one of my favorites.. Its a shame that Working Designs went under... they made some really awesome games.

Working designs always put out quality games. Dragon force and Albert odyssey were my favorite saturn games, period.

It's what happens to every developer that puts out product that's an all-around cut above.  Look at Clover.

The fact that you said that means I can actually be friends with you.
