Plasma Sword:Nightmare of Bilstein [oRARS][PAL-EUR][sb]

Original rars from Genius
A 100meg or so rar file uploaded to megaupload. Extracts to a CDI with inject file.

Please note: As this file is PAL, some users on the forum I got it from stated they were experiencing "flickering". I run a PAL system and it runs fine on that. However the game does give the option to run at 50 or 60 htz

Plasma Sword
Dream Resurrection

Dream Resurrection or DCRES is a project maintained by TuxTheWise. The goal is making high quality releases with custom optimization techniques. Please always see readme files of each game, they always have important information.

NOTE: I've seen some people uploading my releases in other servers. I recommend you always getting
my releases of my uploads in the forums above, because sometimes I release fixes or re-launch some
games that have problems. If you get my uploads you'll be sure of having the latest releases.
Additionally, you'll get the original package, not images made from discs, so you'll be sure that
nothing is corrupted.

Plasma Sword (NTSC-U)
---------------------
Ripped: Most CDDA tracks edited.
Downsampled: C***OM opening sound 44khz stereo -> 32khz stereo.
Source: GD dump.

=== ATTENTION: ===
You need to execute the "unpack.bat" before burning, it will unpack the .ecm file and create your
.cdi image.

If you need to apply any patch, do it in the unpacked .cdi file, not in the .ecm file.
==================

This game was huge: ~87 minutes of CDDA music. The music itself wouldn't fit a CD-R, now imagine it
with the game files.

Echelon decided to rip some tracks and re-link them to others. The guy that asked me for this
release said that the same song played every stage, what looks like a real bad thing. I took the
CDDA editing approuch. I must admit I didn't think it was a good idea at start, because according
to my math I would have to cut about 34 minutes of music. I almost gave up this project, but
decided later to give it a try. I managed to make very wise cuts: stage songs now have ~2 minutes
(originally 3+ minutes) and ending songs should be long enough to play until the end of the
animation. Note that every song will end with fade out and they will repeat correctly after it
ends, just like the original tracks.

I couldn't test this game in every possible situation, but I'm pretty sure it will work fine in
every circustance. If you play it for some time, please send me a feedback message.

I wasted 3 discs (and a lot of time) until I could find the correct way to crack the CDDA in this
game. Usual cdda.exe will make game freezes after C****M logo in the real console, and for some
reason not in emulators. Fortunately I could make it work.

This game won't work with VGA-Box. I've enabled the VGA flag but the game just refuses to output
VGA signal. Well, the graphics are terrible anyway...

PAL users, this game will boot in 60hz on your consoles.

Another release to make you happy. DCRES: keeping the dream alive.

Features of my release:
- Every single song avaliable.
- Not corrupted files at all, it was made with GD dump files.
- Used custom DCRES optimization techniques. It means faster loadings and less Dreamcast reader
noise.
- Selfboot.

About the game:
- It has VGA Box support.

Other comments:
- "Extras" folder in the pack contains some useless stuff.
- Release comes with covers (low quality).

Save the text below with .sfv extension and open with any SFV checker. I recommend RapidCRC.

plasma_dcres.part1.rar 3C4155EF
plasma_dcres.part2.rar 5FF138E4

Extracting files:
Use 7-zip. For unpacking the RAR files inside archive, you can use WinRAR.

Burning files:
Alcohol 120% probably can burn all extensions, but I recommend Disc Juggler for CDI files.
