 :) wasnt sure to pu here or oin saturn folder contains 3 progs to change games to your default region

i just wanted to ask if this is an easy process cause im planning on getting a saturn sometime this week. just wondering how it works before i just dive into it.

You will need a modchip before you can play backups on a saturn.

I use SRP and it is very easy just select the disc image then tick the checkbox for your region and click patch you can do it in seconds. it literally takes seconds to do. Alternativly you could grab an action replay giving you 1mb,4mb expantion memory storage and Region free capabilities.

Another option is region switch mod the saturn but thats a bit more tricky.


Also do not burn your patched images with nero it will remove the patch thinking its an error more info in the SRP readme

cool thanks. im planning on getting the chip of racketboys site, and thanks for tha extra info about not using nero. does alcohol work to burn the images?

yea i thought he was out of them too but i read in his forums and some of the user comments and it seems like he has some in stock right now but im still not 100% sure on that. that site you posted looks great and i would be willing to wait some extra days for it to arrive so i might be hitting that place up if i cant find any. thanks.

You can always use the Swap trick method on the Sega Saturn as well to play copied games, If you can't find a mod chip. Thats what I use on my Saturn
