sony was baller enough to give it exposure at their press conference and it also sounded like sony is funding the project which i think they're still going to, but yu suzuki did an ama on reddit and he said that most of this games funding is coming from kickstarter and not sony. your starting to see this banner pop up in different places:
i dont really know what to believe at this point (sony has to be funding some of it, thats whats keeping it off xbox) but it is very important that anyone whos interested in this game get behind it now and donate rather then assume its already funded at 2 mil and were getting yu's entire vision at 2 million donated. yu said that in order for him to fully make the game hes envisioned he needs 10 mil. im sure sonys gonna put some money up and i have to assume sega will too, but its very important that everyone donate whatever you can during this kickstarter.
every week they add new rewards for donating money, today they got a huge boost because they're now offering a physical ps4 copy if you donate 60 bucks. they also added some 10 grand prizes like have your face on an npc character in the game lulz!!!111 im tight on cash at the moment so im only ten bucks down right now, but im gonna try to bump my donation up before it ends. if you bruhs can only afford 2 bucks 5 bucks whatever please donate to help shenmue 3 become its full potential!!1111
