I know I am in the minority but I can never seem to get into that game. If only they made a version of it with guns and a post apocalyptic theme....

I think the main reason I like it is because it's set in a medieval theme, and it's immersive enough that I don't get bored. When I was a kid I wanted to be a knight.
And HA at the fallout reference. :D

I didn't hate it, just not into all that wizard knight goblin stuff. I like more futuristic style fantasy. Which is why I like the fallout games even though they are basically the same.

I definitely don't hate fallout 3, but the reasons you don't care for elder scrolls are the reasons I like the series.

well i hated fallout 3 as well.its not that i dont like the wizard goblin stuff.i loved dragon age and neverwinter knights.i guess its just the gameplay that i dont like.you run around town and can get killed by a single guy who no matter how many times you hit will never die.and then some vampire bit me and i couldnt go out in the day.yea thats basically my exp with elderscrolls 4.

fallout 3 was a bit better i guess but i guess the world is just too expansive for me and i have no idea what i should be doing in it.

If you follow the main quest directly it can be pretty linear. Get a quest, run towards the spot on the compass, do the job, repeat until beaten.

Man Dragon Age was sweet, but I only played it because I wanted something that was somewhat like Oblivion. And that quest to save the mages circle, where you have to turn into a mouse and what not - forget about it! I'll never go through that again!

I thought DGA was a bit naff but that Fallout 3 was very naff, never even finished that.

Morrowind and Oblivion are still the tits.

I knew there were more elder scrolls fans around here, just couldn't remember who.
