Help burning Ikaruga(read by DC as an audio cd)
« on: January 18, 2010, 04:19:28 AM »
So I tried to burn Ikaruga last week and it was read as an audio cd instead of a game. My other burns( Capcom vs SNK Pro, Capcom vs SNK 2, Project Justice, and Silent Scope) worked fine. I use Alcohol 120% and burn at the lowest speed possible on my laptop, 10x. Can I get some help please?

Try burning at a higher speed.

Football Lad and the others are the experts I a Noob..and Im not a Tech Guru...However I will try what Football lad suggested or even try switching different burning programs....If you have trial versions of Alc 120 and DJ as I do it wont give you the option to burn at higher speeds as far as Im aware...Maybe try it again...

Try not to burn higher than 24x. In my experience Dreamcast games tend to not work well above that speed.

Petition for a Dreamcast 2! It might not work but it's worth a shot!

It is dependent entirely on the writer and the disk not the DC.
