New laptop time
« on: November 04, 2009, 03:59:49 AM »
I just bought my hp last christmas, but I have the opportunity to buy a new one now and I want to take advantage of it while I can (my rich Grandparents are spending money on school related stuff).
I only have one requirement, but it's sort of a big one. I want to be able to run oblivion on high.
Well scratch that, I can't exceed around $600 either. Is it possible? The cheapest laptops I've seen yet are on newegg, but I want to make sure I get the most bang for my buck so if anyone has any advice I'll be grateful.
Is it even possible to get a laptop with graphical capabilities like that for that price?
It's an old game now, but the requirements for high are still up there.

Nice laptop man :) I was gonna suggest an Acer Aspire One but you're obviously not going for the educational route ;)

It'd pretty nice, but the battery life not so good. 2  hours max, on lowest settings.
