hi folks
« on: June 01, 2009, 04:46:21 AM »
This seems like a good place to share games and mods etc. I've always been into sega since childhood and show no signs of quitting that. I have some saturn and DC games to share that may be fun for everyone.

My saturn is modded for 15khz rgb output to play on endoscopy monitor. It looks just like arcade I love it :) Also modded with region and old school 21 pin chip. I hope it never burns out haha. Anyone else here play on rgb? I'm looking for a big sony pvm.

Anyways, thanks for having me.

I'm using RGB cable for my 50/60 Hz Saturn with the switch, looking like dream on my lcd- colors and sharpness, so i'm playing ONLY on my Saturn now :P.
Problems with Saturn type of images?

Awesome Rep_plus!! I'd love to see the refresh rate mod.Thats for PAL resolution right? How cool! Sorry when I said 15khz I meant horizontal refresh rate. I'm still running 60hz vertical like US/J consoles. How are you running RGB on LCD TV?

So my original (Like real store bought copy) Saturn games list is as follows:

Guardian heroes U
Streetfighter 02 J
Dungeons & Dragons collection J
MSH vs SF J
Samurai Spirits 3 J
Samurai Spirits 4 J
Puyo Puyo 2 J
KOF 97 J
VATLVA J
Puzzle Bobble 3 J
Thunder Force V J
Soukyugurentai first version J
SEGA Touring Car Championship J
Cotton Boomerang J
Dracula X J (My favorite yes!)
Touge King the spriits J
Shining Force 3 U
NiGHTS U
Xmas NiGHTS J
Darius Gaiden J
Radiant Silvergun J
Magical drop 3 J

So which do I rip/upload?

Again thanks for the warm welcome everyone :)

Hi hi :)!!
I've done mod from:
http://www.mameworld.net/pc2jamma/satmod4.html
http://www.mameworld.net/pc2jamma/satmod2.html
http://www.mameworld.net/pc2jamma/satmod7.html
( http://pc2jamma.mameworld.info/satmod1.html )
(It was very unwise, that they shuted down their site for a some time, but now i will steal all info from that site and create a nice tutorial for mods with Saturn :P.)
to upgraded my 50Hz Saturn to 60Hz, that i can play in all 60Hz games without black stripes and slowdowns.
There's no need to do a switch for 50Hz/60Hz when you have 60Hz console.
My console is how can i say- ultra rare PAL Saturn and of course i'm using swap trick and it's still working 100% good. If my drive will be damaged i just can replace it with another form any other model 2 :P, so it's secure method.

Ah, check my signature for- "how copying Saturn games"- you can choose bin/cue method if you have faster uploading speed, if not choose insted 2nd method in iso/mp3.

And to uploading games you must create a free account on mediafire and just send files there:), and remember to log on your mediafire account about one time for 60 days, so you files will be kept forever!!
