I seem to remember seeing solderless saturn modchips a while back, just pop them in and they work you know? I think the hard part will be finding a chip this late in the game.

They are super easy to install. Just a 5v power supply. What kind of chip do you have?

Recently I bought a saturn and I was going to buy a modchip for it. That is until I found out that you can use the swap trick and play backups. Why buy a modchip if you can use swap trick?

The saturn is a great console and thanks segahub.org for the saturn .isos. I am having fun playing games on a console I totally missed out on. The saturn is an over-looked console.

i remember doing the swap trick with the ps1

it wa fucking annoying and i wont scratch the shit out of my discs doing so

Buy the chip from http://www.consolegoods.co.uk/
The install is super easy. You only have to solder one side of one wire. The pad you solder to is relatively large. The other side of the wire can just be feed into the molex plug and all other wires are connected with a ribbon cable that they give you. It works with almost every system. He takes PayPal and its only $35. Its not a bad deal.

I highly recommend checking out this site before paying someone to install it

I ordered my chip from them and very glad I did. It came quick and their instructions made it easy to install. I never did the swap trick, but I think $25 is well worth it for the amount I use my saturn.
