how decompress mp3 files to wav format
Use completly free dBpoweramp Music Converter or any other program, which you know.
hint: press "ctrl + a" to select all files in one folder

creating cue file for iso/wav or iso/mp3 type of images

- run program called Sega Cue Maker

- go in SCM to catalog, which has only iso (=1) and wav (>=1) files / which has only iso (=1) and mp3 (>=1) files

- name cue file as you want and SCM saves it in the same catalog, in which are iso/wav or iso/mp3 files

- open cue file with any text editor

- delete line with POSTGAP 00:02:00 (and save of course)

creating cue file for any other type of images (if archive is corrupted and it should be in bin/cue or other format)

- run program called Isobuster

- open in Isobuster any type of the image, for example: bin, mdf, img, ...

- next you will see all files, which are in image

- click right button on the CD

- then choose Extract Cd <Content>

- Extract User Data (*.tao, *.iso, *.wav)

- after you'll get iso file and wav file/files

- use program called Sega Cue Maker to create a new correct cue file

if you can't open image to change region of choosen game in Saturn Region Patcher (SRP) (repairing the ecc fields)

Use CDmage to repair the ecc fields:
01/ Install CDmage where you want on your harddrive and launch it.
02/ Open you image with CDmage. For bin/cue and CloneCD images, do not choose the .BIN file in the open dialog box but choose the .CUE or .CCD file instead. Also, CDmage doesn't work with Alcohol 120% .MDF/.MDS and DiscJuggler .CDI v4 images.
03/ Select the "Sector Browser" option in the View Menu.
04/ Select the "Scan For Corruption" option in the Action Menu.
05/ In the dialog box, choose "Sector range" from 150 to 151 then click the Scan button.
06/ You will get dialog box telling you there are 2 corrupted sectors.
07/ In the sector browser, select the 2 lines that appeared in the Errors tab then Right click on them and choose "Repair Sector Fields..." option.
08/ In the next dialog box, verify that all the box are checked then click the OK button.
09/ You will get dialog box telling you cdmage successfully repaired 2 sectors.
10/ Now you can close CDmage and open your newly modified image with SRP without any problem.

how to check the true region(J, U or E) of Saturn game on madroms.free.fr

First go to:
Quote
http://madroms.free.fr/db/
Next open image in SRP(Saturn Region Patcher).
You can see other info for J, U or E region game in:
- VERS.
- INT. DATE
Check this info on the site and in the SRP.

Example:
Shining Force III EUR, VERS.: 1.005 INT., DATE: 11/06/1998
Shining Force III USA, VERS.: 1.001 INT., DATE: 24/06/1998

image in bin dumped from cd or mounted image(iso/wavs)- how to check it

Just open cue file using any of the text editors- and you'll see:

For dump from cd something like this:
FILE "D-X.BIN" BINARY
  TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
  TRACK 02 AUDIO
    PREGAP 00:02:00
    INDEX 01 08:16:16
  TRACK 03 AUDIO
    INDEX 00 08:32:07
    INDEX 01 08:34:07
  TRACK 04 AUDIO
    INDEX 00 09:25:43
    INDEX 01 09:27:43
  TRACK 05 AUDIO
    INDEX 00 10:37:20
    INDEX 01 10:39:20
  TRACK 06 AUDIO
    INDEX 00 11:41:28
    INDEX 01 11:43:28
  TRACK 07 AUDIO
    INDEX 00 12:47:74
    INDEX 01 12:49:74
...

For dump from mounted image(iso/wavs) you'll see (it was earlier in iso/mp3s, so in worse quality):
FILE "D-X-MOUNTED-FROM-ISO-WAVS.BIN" BINARY
  TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
  TRACK 02 AUDIO
    PREGAP 00:02:00
    INDEX 01 08:18:16
  TRACK 03 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 08:36:07
  TRACK 04 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 09:29:43
  TRACK 05 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 10:41:20
  TRACK 06 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 11:45:28
  TRACK 07 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 12:51:74
...

important hints

Remember, that in the cue file for bin or cue file for iso/mp3s(or wavs) type of image,
must be the same name, which has bin or iso file.

**Examples:**

**
bin/cue type of the image

bin file has the name equal:
PDScd1.BIN

inside the cue file should be:
FILE "PDScd1.BIN" BINARY
  TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
**

**
iso/wav/cue type of the image

iso file has the name equal:
Track01.iso

inside the cue file should be:
FILE "Track01.iso" BINARY
  TRACK 01 MODE1/2048
**

**
MODE1/2048 for iso file
MODE1/2352 for bin file
If in the cue file number are other- you must to change it.
