another noob joins you ;-)
« on: May 07, 2009, 12:14:27 PM »
hey there guys!
finally (after years of waiting ) i got a dreamcast
now i've got a question:
as it is really hard to get certain games in europe (i got a pal dc) i'm trying to download some stuff....
will ntsc games run on my dreamcast?what does it mean when i always see a "U" in a game tilte description?
for example : i download a file named "Half life gold (U)"
does the U stand for universal or US or something?
help would be really appreciated, there seems to be nobody in germany giving a shit about this wonderful system

I don't actually know what the U stands for, but yes it's NTSC. I think whether or not it will play depends on your tv, I play PAL games on my US dreamcast so I don't think as far as the system goes it matters.
