If your computer is a Pentium III, then your are incompatible with amd processors. unless you want to but a new mother board, but then you might as well buy a whole new computer. Processor wise if you want to upgrade without buying a brand new mother board, the best you could do is buy a faster Pentium III... but b4 you think of buying a new processor, you need to know what type of mother board you have (socket wise). you will either have a Slot 1 or Socket 370 as Pentium 3's only came as one of those 2 options.
