WTB: Mod-Chipped SEGA Saturn
« on: January 08, 2009, 01:52:16 AM »
How much does a mod-chipped SEGA Saturn sell for? And does anyone have one for sale? I see them on ebay now and then but they always get kicked off before the auction ends. I was told to buy a racket boy chip but the website's paypal checkout never works. Does anyone have a pre-modded system or an extra chip they want to sell? How much does a chipped Saturn sell for anyway?

If anyone was wondering, the answer is apparently 55 dollars. It cost $35 to buy a round-button Saturn at my local game shop and it cost about 20 US dollars for the mod-chip from

The mod-chip they sell only has one wire to solder. The rest of the connection is made with a ribbon cable. Thought I would post this, in case anyone else was looking to mod a Saturn.
