PS2 & XBOX (original) online games.

Finally got round to buying a new modem/router and a 360 Xbox Live account.
However, since finding out the PS2 is free for "NETplay" I've spent most of my time on that playing Pro Evo 6 (for all the Americans out there it's a "soccer" game)
Also when using the 360 most of my time has been spent playing original Xbox titles :-Halo 2, Forza, Conker - Reloaded.

Anyway just wondering if anyone can recommend good online games for either the PS2 or original Xbox as both can be picked up quite cheaply.

I remember one game on there called Tribes, that was fun. I've heard that some of the Metal Gear 3 was fun too. What else ... I never really used online for my ps2 much. FFXI maybe (costs money, not worth it though). I'll think of more worth playing ... lol

I don't know of many as I've only had my PS2 for around 5 months.
Believe it or not I'd never even played one b4 then. But a few months back
I got the chance to buy one at half price £50 (they were still £110 at the time)
and thought it was too good an offer to pass up. I've been trying to find a cheap copy of MGS 3 Subsistance but it's proving to be more costly than I thought.

wow ... lol MGS 3 subsistance can't be more than £10 these days, maybe even £7. Or shouldn't be, at least! The extra versions they throw out after the original usually go down in price after a few months. Oh well, just wait I guess!

But then found out Subsistance is much improved but it seems to hit @£25 used on ebay
quite regularly. I've seen it on Amazon b4 for as much as £60 used :0

Haven't checked either site recently though.

Sign up to sony, register your ps2 any they'l send you a free demo and network disk, but 4 sum reason my network disk never came

PS2:  Champions of Norath,  Return to Arms, Monster Hunter, SOCOM
Xbox:  Crimson Skies, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Phantasy Star Online(if you didn't play it on DC,  monthly fee though), MechAssault, Worms 4

the revamped MGS3s online is no longer up, sadly, i know as i went to play it a few eeks back cause i got a craving.

your best bet for online ps2 games is newer titles, as a lot of older ones are either down now or have no one playing them(the serious sam game had no one playing it shortly after it came out  though >.<).

i think theres an online ratchet and clacnk, its prolly still up

Get Star wars battle front 2 for ps2 cuz thats like the funniest online one for ps2.(for the online games i have.) But I would make sure you have a Headset since on Battle front 2 you cant type :/

get Samurai showdown 5, I picked it up afew days ago for about 8$ (canadain), or even better yet Samurai showdown 6 if your ps2 is chiped. 5 came out for the ps2 and xbox but 6 only came out for the ps2
