iam not so sure about many of the films but the few of them that i think could do good are the price of persia movie.i have some hopes for it.
halo.even though i hate the game the movie could do good if they can capture the epicness and the varied variety of environments of the game like the lush green landscapes that the master chief fights in etc etc.
the legend of spyro and earthworm jim movies if they are animated or cgi.and god of war that movie could be of epic proportions if they somehow made it a bit like 300 or something.

the rest of them are meh and the gears of war movie will suck.

The question is, how many will actually make it into theaters? It's kinda weird that they're all coming out in 1-2 years isn't it. I wonder why there aren't barely any coming out now, it's not a new idea.

There have been some nice ones in the past: Final Fantasy Advent, Hitman, ummm I've forgotten what other good ones were out lately.

I hope a lot of them will come out. For Halo you know they're trying really hard to perfect it, they don't want it to suck no matter what. Earthworm Jim will be awesome lol ... I wanna see Toejam and Earl though

Mortal Kombat, like always has potential to be great, but as we all saw on the second movie, it can also be power rangers with more violence.

Splinter Cell, its a tom clancy game, it will own ass as a movie, as long as they dont have some tool as the main actor like tom cruz

Halo, it will be an alright movie at best but 50,000,000 people will watch it and swear its the greatest movie of all time.

Prince of persia, it will be a kick ass movie but only 50,000 people will watch it and it will only have a cult following

Castlevania could be great, Ill look forward to that one

MGS, just use the cutscenes and you got a 10 hour movie

street fighter, lana lane as chun li? fuck that get a hot asian bitch like the girl from transporter.

Resident evil, will dominate

God of War and Gears of War will both kick ass. I know no one will agree with me on this but WWEs Batista would make a great marcus

Definitely, but look at the landscapes in God of War. One of the first stages in GOW2 was crawling up out of hell with all these creepy hands and shit grabbing at you, would make for a good movie IMO, but there really aren't too many winners on that list.

I want a Tekken movie with just a butt load of fighting scenes between every single character from the game, and a short story behind what made them what they are today, and then they fight, and continue on, and then all the fights just twine together for a final bout. It'd be kickass.
