Is Dreamcast backwards-compatible with Saturn games?

I'm wondering if Saturn games can be played on Dreamcast consoles.

My local pawnshop has a copy of Independance Day for sale. I wanted that game so badly in my youth but I had no Saturn. Anyways, if I'd be able to play it, I would buy it.

And by the way, Dreamcast rocks my socks off. I've only had mine for about a month. If only I had known sooner... All those wasted years...

We all wish it were the case :< but no, you'll need to have a saturn (or a pc with emulation) to play the saturn games
