How do I burn these so that they'll work on my DC?

Alcohol 120% should burn them, if not, try ImgBurn.

How? Just burn the .img file? Those are also non self boot, right?

Burn the file that's just a few bytes which I think is the CCD file.  You can't tell if a game is selfboot or not from the image format, but a CCD file has the capability to be selfboot, so it might or might not be.  The only image formats that cannot be selfboot are iso and bin/cue.

Ok this is what i do with multi file images, use alcohol and go to the burning screen, open the smallest image and they'll all come up as one since they have the same name. Then below there should be some information, if the image has more than one session then its selfboot, i always have to check this to see if games will work on my dc or if theyre non-selfboot.

If you are concerned about losing a disk then you could mount the IMG in the alchohol virtual drive and create your own self booting image.
