Yeah I haven't touched the games in forever, so I wanted to just go ahead and get something worthwhile ... and if you know me, worthwhile doesn't last very long ;D

I did the trade with the guy, it still boggles me that he gave me a gamecube for it. I went ahead and got Super Mario Sunshine, now I'm lookin for Zelda Twilight, we'll see. :)

Get Killer 7!  You'll never play a game like it again.

too late lol ... guys i'm not a lil kid anymore. i forgot how child-focused the gamecube is. Playing Super Mario Sunshine is like ... being in ... kindergarten or something. These dumb people ask you to do all this crap for you and I'm like ... ok why should I play this lol ...

my biggest problem is ... there's no achievements like with xbox. I like to play something for a reason, and getting achievements boosts my "I can do this" attitude. But there's nothing out there outside of xbox worth playing, maybe besides a couple games I really enjoyed visiting again and again, I'm not sure why. But right now my brain's just targeted on playing games that have a purpose, and not this mindless "do this do that" shit ...

So I'm trading it all for Mass Effect and $50. I put the gamecube back on CL and someone snatched it up and we came to an agreement. FREAKING SWEET.

The guy I traded my games with, the only game he wanted out of my collection was Toejam and Earl lol. Go figure right? ;)

Killer 7's for PC too isn't it?

Wow. Yeah, resident evil 4 is really child focused.
Mario sunshine is the worst mario game ever. It's worse than those educational "mario is missing" games.
I think mass effect sucks. But if you need a pat on the head for playing games...
One could argue the same sort of satisfaction could be had giving head at gay bars.

There are some real gamecube classics though

I think trading a whole system for one game is shite but its your shit so it is yours to do what you want with

playing a game for achievements is stupid in my opinion because you really don't get anything out of it yeah you get points but on the same hand they are just points when the next box comes out those points will be meaningless

what you did is lake a gaming version of being shallow

Are you kidding Will?  Why would you judge a system on one game?  There's Killer 7, Fire Emblem, Legend of Zelda WW and TP, Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Resident Evil 0,1,2,3,4 and Eternal Darkness to mention a few adult games.

Wow I'm getting attacked here lol

The only two games I was initially interested in getting was Twilight and Mario Sunshine. Sure there were a lot of other good ones out there but I just can't make myself do it lol. Call me crazy and stupid, I don't care. I just went from 10 sega genesis games, to Mass Effect and $50.

I already had a gamecube before, I was head over heels for it back in the day. I owned every other game out there for it. But something hit me when I was playing with it today. I just wasn't feelin it. I've been there done that got the t-shirt. Nintendo has moved on to the Wii, and I guess if I want to play anything Nintendo, I need to move on to the Wii also, one day. Who knows.

I'm going to say this, DONT DO IT YET! THINK MAN THINK. take TJ&E out of the equation, if jesus came back as a sega genesis cart TJ&E would be him. That is by far the best game on the genesis.  Back in the day I sold my copy for 15$, worst decision EVER! it took me 4 years to find another copy and I ended up paying 25$ for it! trade all the other games except TJ&E if you really want the cube.

you're a bit late ... and ya know, the thing is I looked high and low for Toejam and Earl, I'm right there with you, I ended up paying about $20 for mine, and that was a good 3-4 years ago. I can't wait for a sequel ... the xbox version didn't do justice.

ohh damn... well I'll tell you this: its alot easier to get 50$ and a copy of mass effect than a copy of the first TJ&E. Sure you can obtain it for about 20$ but thats if you find it.

You can get it in the original box with instructions for $35 shipped on ebay right now. I didn't have a case for any of my games. So I'm not worried lol ...

TJ&E was a great game but I don't have a Sega Genesis anymore so there's no point in bothering with it anymore. It's gone, it's done. I'll be fine with what I'm gettin.

And I wrote back immediately:
