Does this sound fair?
« on: September 04, 2008, 08:47:44 AM »
I have These for sega genesis:
Quote
Adventures of Rocket Knight
Dashin Desperado's
Gunstar Heroes
Mega Bomberman
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament
Toejam and Earl
Toejam and Earl 2
Vectorman 2
Wayne's World
X-Men

This is what I've been offered so far:
Quote
i have a nintendo gamecube with all the cables, controller, gameboy advance hook up, memory card and tiger woods 05.

if you are interested in trading for this write me back and we could meet up somewhere.

Daniel

So far I like this trade, I mean it's just sega genesis GAMES for a gamecube SYSTEM! Should I do it or wait for the next trade? I'm kinda interested in it, I mean it is something, but I almost think I could do better if someone's gonna offer a freakin system like that lol

I'm the one with the games and they're all used, like I bought them from gamestop once, I was freaking lucky to find some of these. Like Gunstar Heroes? Toejam and Earl? Good shit!

He'd easily be getting the better deal. Toe Jam and Earl itself is worth as much as a GameCube + hookups.

You know ... actually ... no I don't lol sorry man! I used to but I sold them back a couple months ago. Good times were had with the Dreamcast!

Are you looking for certain games in particular or just don't care? ;D

Yeah DK I'm with you ... Toejam and Earl is easily the greatest game of ALL TIME in my book ... that's why I was hesitant and decided to call you guys lol. I'll keep updating this over the next few days if any other offers come up.

Whatever, genesis games are only worth as much as they are to you.
Just to throw this out there, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
And no matter what you think they're worth, keep this in mind:
My cousin has a collection of baseball cards that are listed as rare. Guess how many he's been able to sell for over $10 a piece? NONE!

Sir I'm with you on that ... I've shot high when it comes to ebay, but I don't think I can do that with these. All of these games have just been sitting around taking up part of my bookshelf, and I don't have a sega genesis and now that I've got an xbox I just have no reason to go back to them and play them as they should be played.

But Toejam and Earl and Gunstar Heroes are the only two games out of the collection, I think, that are worth a lot to me, at least in my heart they're worth a lot LOL ...

This guy is trading a GAMECUBE for it ... back in the day, I had to mow like 30 yards just to get one! I think if I wanted to I could stop right now and trade for it, even if I don't have any incredible interest for it. I haven't played a couple games yet for the gamecube, it's worth swimming back in the past with, maybe even give it away for a Christmas present later.

I'm totally with you on the GameCube, I just want to make sure you get what's worth out of your stuff.

If you sold all of those games individually, you could easily get a GameCube and not just one but a few games.  ToeJam and Earl can sell for $20, even incomplete.

I think the GameCube + $10-$15 would be a more fair deal.

Tiger woods 05 does suck. Too bad it's not 06.. why not see if he'll throw in some cash for a game or two?
