I'm usually not the voting type, but if I were an american I'd cast a vote so just so it would count against obama. I'll give him this however, he can perform a great speech. A speach so good that he has won over 1/2 of america without actually making any promises or plans of action. Everyone will be popular if they promise change, unity, and a bright future... but the real question is how is he going to fullfil his promises, he hasnt said anything about that, no mention tothe plan of action. The reason he is so popular is that everyone is seems pretty disapointed in americas current state and he has offered them change, but he hasnt said how or what he will change, although he mentioned he would try renegotiate NAFTA which was a complete blunder. Why not make it more difficult for north american countries to trade with the states? that sounds like a good idea! then we can trade all we want with china a countrie that will give us all the imports we want! just wait until it comes to the time to export, china doesnt import they export. So other than promising to decrease american exports he hasnt really said much. I dont see how any one can support a candidate with no policies other than one that will hurt there economy even more.
McCain is a real politicion he doesnt just blindly promise change, he has something called policies. If Obamas complete lack of policies isnt enought to turn you off, his remarks concerning NAFTA should of been the nail in this coffin.
Why people blindly support a campain without a plan of action or any policies just beats me.
I dont really like McCain, i just dislike Obama even more. Dan has the right idea. Hell I think George W would still be better off spear heading the states than obama.
