I can't believe Guitar Hero has even become the next DDR. Sure it's neat. It's nice to play a couple times. Ever since DDR my mind has just flown right over Guitar Hero and hit a lot of other people right in the face. Good thing they don't have Guitar Hero in arcades, people all over would be broke ass poor!

Remember when DDR was the huge fad?  People all over were claiming that THIS was gonna be the revolution that got kids healthy, :P.

...that now kids were gonna be playing video games by dancing around.  I guess it didn't last too long.

What scared me was when I'd walk into an arcade and people were actually lining their quarters up along the glass of the game, they were actually PAYING to play these same songs over and over and over. It was like a nightmare brought to LIFE.

They could seriously have made a movie about this, but if they did it'd be wayyy overdue by now.

Hahahaha.  The funny thing is they played one of my FAVORITE songs in stepmania,  Dead End.

Anyway,  I am a huge Guitar Hero fan but it wasnt really a fad for me,  I just got my paycheck and went to best buy to go buy a game since ive outplayed shadow of the colossus way too much,  And i spotted Guitar hero and bought it.  All my friends called me a faggot until i actually got good at it.  Now all my friends own the game.  So i guess i started the fad in my group of friends.  I modded my friends 360 and burned him the new DDR so his sister would buy the dancepad,  And it fuckin sucks.  I think ill stick to Stepmania 8)

lol yeah I found it more fun to play stepmania with my keyboard than actually dancing on the buttons with my feet ... :D

one thing I want to know is, how would they do online multiplayer with this game, what with lag and all ... ? Would they play the song together at the same time or would they each have it go at their own pace and not see other's stats during play or what?

I can't believe they were even trying to get people to play DDR for the exercise aspect of it. It actually kept track of how many calories you burned in a day and all that crap. Ugh ... it's too hard to think about.
