Modded Xbox
« on: June 21, 2008, 12:44:02 AM »
Sup all.

What would be a reasonable price for a Hard Modded(not sure what chip is in it, got it from a friend) 80gb Modded Xbox(dashboard is the 360 modeled DB) with 1 controller hookups and lots of stuff on the hard drive(Big Ass Emulator Disc 1 3a and 3b, and at least 15-20 games). Also have a nice carrying case Link to a pic of the kind I have ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B0002SDN2W/ref=dp_image_0?ie=UTF8&n=468642&s=videogames )

I'm asking cause I'm considering selling it if I can get a decent amount out of it.  Not looking for a fortune, but if I can't get enough, I'd be better off keeping it  :P

Thanks :)

At least $60. Really should be more like $80 or so, but I'm not sure if you could realistically get that much out of it. Thats my opinion anyway.

well crap....if that's the amount I;d get out of it, I'd be better off hanging on to it.  I was hoping to get at least $100 out of it (which means I'd have to get $110-$115 to ship it and still get $100 out of it)  Damn can't believe they've fallen that much....expecially when a used Xbox bare bones is still $60 at Gamestop.... :(

Well the problem is that the kind of people you could advertise to are most likely the kind of people who know how to mod them themselves for cheap, or would just prefer to do it themselves. If you could sell it on ebay you could easily get $100 or more out of it, but you can't advertise a modded console there. I dunno, the fact that it has an 80GB hd might get you more than I mentioned, I'm not sure.
But if I was you I'd probably hang on to it anyway unless you're hard up for cash.

I sold mine, hardmodded 80 gigs, for $150 to some guy on craigslist. It took about 2 months to get someone to snag it, but it worked :D

it's worth $150, I think. I mean if I wanted one I'd pay that much for it.
