Why on earth would you mod a ps1? All you need is a gameshark!

how does that work?

1. Open up the ps1 disc drive
2. stick a toothpick or something in the part that snaps the lid shut
3. put in gameshark, go to start game
4. remove the gameshark disc, put in burned disc
5. hit X
6. play

Swapping disks everytime you want to play is a pain in the arse though...

I guess, the only ps1 games I played on ps1 were RPG's, so I usually wanted to use a gameshark anyway to cheat, and then I played them for hours before I wanted to play something else, so it depends on how fickle you are with games.

It seriously took a second to chip, thats why.

oh, and I'd consider trading it, prolly for another console or something outstanding. No games though, all my consoles are chipped or modded.
