Hello everyone.
I'm glad to have found a forum dedicated to some of the things I love the most - the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast.
Video games have been my biggest (and consequently, most expensive) hobby to date. I own quite a few consoles and games, but the collection is always growing.
I currently have a model 1 and a model 3 Genesis, 2 Game Gears, a round- and oval-button Saturn, a Dreamcast, and most belovedly, a Mega Drive Module for the Pioneer LaserActive console. That baby plays Mega Drive / Genesis games, Mega CD / Sega CD games and Mega LD (Sega Megadrive LaserDisc) games. It's also the only officially made product capable of outputting optical audio from Genesis games!
I also have an old SEGA/Gremlin arcade cabinet that's been converted into a MAME setup. This is awesome to own as I am addicted to shoot 'em ups.. for some reason I adore Armed Police Batrider. My next Sega-related purchase is going to be a 32x. (The wife keeps trying to talk me out of it though.. "Why do you need that??" "3 words: Star. Wars. Arcade."

A little about me: I'm 21 years old and work a decent career as a Linux systems administrator / cyber-forensics investigator at a small law firm in Seattle, WA. I've been absolutely obsessed with computers and video game consoles for years. I love tinkering with them, I love opening them, I love disassembling them and putting them back together. Ever since I was about 5 I can remember taking a screwdriver to our Metroid cart for NES just to see what made the game tick. I couldn't tell much at that age, but I absolutely fell in love with computing devices. I even have some old schematics I made when I was 9 detailing how to add a floppy disk drive to the NES - before I even knew the Famicom Disk System even existed.
Anyway, it's good to meet you guys and I hope to enjoy the boards frequently in the coming months!
