Now THAT is awesome. I'm just going to pick up a box from gamestop, little more than I wanted to spend, but now I'm anxious to softmod it. Hopefully I don't screw it up and have to drop another $60. :D
Impossible.

The Ndure exploit has the ability to load up to a stock state by using the eject button from where you could launch a retail
game and access live

Ndure uses some old font exploits though :< Just more room to glitch that route.

OK, I'm going to pick up a box today, my question now is, how do I get the games to the HD? FTP?
Is there some way to connect the xbox HD to the PC and drag and drop? I know nothing about this yet.

I did it, damnit. All done. Just played SNES on my xbox. Hey Mesh, any chance you could help me get that morrowind with the cheats and what not?

fullspeed perchance?

I have been dying to play some co-op Kirby Super Star, there just isnt a damn console emu that supports it.

Yeah all the roms I've tried run at full speed, I'd highly recommend getting an xbox. But don't expect softmodding it to be easy. It wasn't for me, at least.

I'm sure you can FTP the roms over to the xbox the same way you did the emulators, it's a good idea to put them in the same folder as the emulator. You make this sound a whole lot harder than when I did it ;)

Emulation on the xbox is almost perfect, I really enjoy playing those old school games :D

Thats because the 2 things this involved, (fucking around with hardware, and network/FTP type shit) are the 2 things I'm terrible at. :D
I just downloaded morrowind, and I've got one last question before I FTP it over.
It's not in an ISO or anything, should it be? It's just MORROWIND/files, as it would most likely be were you to browse the actual disk.
Do you think I should just put the morrowind folder as is on the HD, and in the same drive as the emulators and stuff?
Thats the last question I've got!

Yeah it's usually in the proper format if it's just a bunch of files, just move the Morrowind folder over to the same place where the emulators folder is on your xbox and you should be ready :)

Impossible.

not impossible, you can totally brick your system softmodding,

if you delete any system files on your xbox while softmodding or
while you are transfering games or shit,

enjoy your brick.

then you have to get your HDD Key for your xbox,
hook it up to your comp, boot in dos and run some programs to
unlock and fix it again, but if you brick it and dont have the key, your fucked

Anybody know what n64 emulator runs zelda OOT best? I've been using surreal 64, it's not that bad, but there's pretty bad graphical glitches every now and then. Anybody have better luck with anything else?

What about Project64? I dunno if it'd work well for OOT but worth a try!

Is there a standalone project64 for xbox? On surreal64 theres 1964, ultra, and pj64, and only 1964 runs it at all, but I don't know if it's a different pj64 version.
edit
Just tried it on PJ64...looks even worse. Oh well.
