HOW TO MAKE A SCUMMVM GAME DISC FOR SEGA DREAMCAST
                      By Shadowman and Mr.Giggity

Just download the necessary programs listed below and follow the steps.

+-----------------------------+
|      NECESSARY PROGRAMS   |
+-----------------------------+

-> ScummVM DC plain files.

-> BootDreams.

-> Some Scumm Script Games (Data downloaded or ripped from iso).
* You can get some LucasArts games here.

-> Alcohol 120%, DiscJuggler or Nero.

+-----------------------------+
|          MAKING THE DISC         |
+-----------------------------+

STEP 1

Create a directory on your hard drive (named scummdc or whatever) and unzip your ScummVM plain files to that directory. There should be 23 files in the directory.

The files that you need to make your disc work are:

* 'IP.BIN' (the boot file)
* 'SCUMMVM.BIN' (the main engine file)

You will need both of these files on every cd you make.

STEP 2

Choose the games that you want to put on your disc and copy then to your scummdc folder.

Eg: Give simple names to your game folders like 'dott' for 'Day of the Tentacle' or 'monkey' for 'Monkey Island'.

All the '.PLG', '.TLB', '.DAT' and '.CPT' files are plugin engine files.

For example: If you are making a CD with only LucasArts games, you only need to add the SCUMM.PLG to your compilation, if you want to add BASS (Beneath a Steel Sky) to the CD, you'd add the 'SKY.PLG' file, if you added FOTAQ (Flight of the amazon queen) you would add the 'QUEEN.PLG' etc.

For better performance, do not put all the '.PLG' files on your CD, only the ones you need for the games on there.
Please Note: There are some files with no extension, this files are 'AUTHORS', 'COPYING', 'COPYRIGHT', 'NEWS' and 'README'. Just delete it all.

If you wish to make a disc with multiple games, just make sure you include the 'IP.BIN' & 'SCUMMVM.BIN' in the main directory, then have a separate directory for each of the games. Each directory should include the 'IP.BIN', 'SCUMMVM.BIN' and the specific game '.PLG'.

STEP 3

Open BootDreams and select the scummdc folder or whatever you named it.

Now select the CD image type (cdi for selfboot) that you want to create and press ProceSS to create a ScummVM selfbootable image. If bootdreams prompts you to choose audio/data or data/data, I always choose data/data. Of course this is entirely up you.

STEP 4

Use Alcohool 120% or another program to burn this disc image to a recordable disc.
