it seems that older versions of Alcohol 120% are not able to burn slower than 16X. it works for me every time, but i'm a little worried about wearing out the laser on my prized black dreamcast. has anyone ever ruined their laser this way?

Modern burners and discs are designed to be burned at 16X+ so burning it slower won't give a better disc. :)
