anyone give me some info on the new advance wars?

ive been playing dual strike for a bit now, but ive been skipping all the text, since i found it boring and i really only care about the gameplay, and i dont want to rush to finish it, id rather just be able to switch between the 2, but i really am curious as to how the world got the way it is in day of ruin

Yeah, Days of Ruin is completely unconnected to the previous games storywise.

maybe ill actually read the crap from this one, looks a lot darker than dual strike, htough im not big on the art

Days Of Ruin is fucking phenomenal.  If you like badass strategy games, and the AW series in particular, you'll be happier than a pig in a shit farm.  It's worth buying a DS system for, IMO.

Yeah, I'm liking it a lot.  Wi-Fi is a nice addition too.
