I used to rock Weird Al up until "The Saga Begins" phase. After that, I kind of lost touch with him, but not completely. I will admit that "Amish Paradise" is the jam.

i was really into faith no more for a while in high school, but lost interest pretty quickly. i do enjoy hearing it from time to time though, and i can't help but like mike patton for being such a fucking renaissance man.

Back to Weird Al for a moment, his latest album was pretty good. I'd say about half were paradies and the other half were originals, and of course his polka track.

Patton is just that, and I know a lot of folks feel the same way as you and I do. He always seemed a little like a new-age David Bowie, in the sense that he never allowed himself to be categorized as any "type" or "kind" of vocalist/artist.
