Demoniod has succumed to the CRIA pressure. Well more the servers host has.
Damn well its off to the Pirate bay, its not the same though.

Oh well. It was bound to happen sooner or later. I'm surprised they got oink and tv-links before taking demonoid down.

Just as well... torrents are wildly unsafe. They've become as well-known as napster/kazaa/limewire.

I can't wait until The Pirate Bay finishes developing their new P2P technology. It's going to be completely anonymous apparently.

where there is a will there is a way! Porn and child porn have been available via the net even before the www web. Circa 1990, anyone remember using their fav terminal prog to dial in to the local university. Anyways its there you cant stop it.

So one must applaud Demonoid on their stance of no porn. P2P does not always mean porn or copywrite infringement.

well yeah. i didn't say that a p2p system would INVENT THE CONCEPT OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY (!!!!!!). i said having it fully anonymous would take away any consequences for distributing it, and i think that would be a fucking shame.

and think about it. do you have any clue as to where you could get child porn, because i don't. no idea. in fact, the other day i was talking with a friend about how i can't fathom how one would break into the wild world of child pornography.

Child rape is far worse than child pornography.

i disagree. a child involved in child pornography is still likely being molested, raped, or otherwise mistreated by an adult. the consequences for the child involved in the pornography would be similar in nature to those suffered by the kid who is just raped. not many kids are willingly involved in child porn. i mean, we're not talking about videos of 16 year olds fucking.

and yeah I knew you could get the Radiohead album legally and free, the real cd won't be for sale for another year, but it was a nice little experiment. But it showed that overall, more people would rather get something for free instead of buying it. I mean duh, that's the world for ya.

at any rate ... demonoid's down and every other torrent site out there will be next. Get over it people, if you want something, just get it yourself
