Hello everybody!
« on: October 31, 2007, 10:14:09 PM »
Hi,

I'm Kierewieb and I'm new.
I've been a long time gamer, since the early 80's to be more exact. I have owned a lot of different gaming devices (http://images.tradera.com/476/52133476_1.jpg  <- I owned this one for instance) but right now I still own a Commodore 64, 2 Amiga's, PS1, Gamecube, 2 X-box's, a crappy PC and of course a Dreamcast!
I bought it late `99 and played with it a lot. Mostly Unreal T. (which was the first game that got me hooked on FPS's) and Metropolis Street Racer. Then I bought a PS2 that I didn't like at all so I sort of traded that in for a Xbox. I got a little bit addicted to that so when somebody asked me if he could loan my Dreamcast, I foolishly aggreed. This was in 2003.... I got it back last month.  :(

But now I have it back.... and I can't stop playing with it!!  :D
I seem to have only one problem that maybe you guys can help me with. I have some ripped games that don't seem to work anymore, probably down to low quality cd's. I have found most of them through common torrent sites but I keep having a problem with burning .cdi files with discjuggler. They simply won't work! Other files work great, it's just those damn .cdi's

Any ideas?

You should burn CDIs with Alcohol 120%.  And also, there is a chance that the CDI image could be bad too.

Welcome to Segahub.  Glad you got your Dreamcast back ;D.

Thanks man, it was a combination of the both. Tried to burn one with A120% and that didn't work so I stopped trying with A120%. Now I tried some other ones but they work great.

And yes, life is so much better now it's back.  ;)
