I pretty much hate it but since im using it for free i cant complain. the download speeds are great though i can wait an extra day to download the next disc to a game. the only thing i really hate is having to wait a week to download 7 parts that make up one disc.

Well what would you recommend instead? I'm annoyed that I have to download each part once a day too but if it's a game I've been wanting to play I'll do anything. It's better than going to eb games and paying $5 for it ... ;)

well, megaupload has tons of advantages:

* it's one of the very few ddl-services that offer full speed downloads
* it offers full speed when uploading
* it has an extremely high limit of 500MB for uploading files
* files are stored for up to three months without downloads
* you get messaged before a file gets deleted
* it supports resumable uploads, even for free users. that is the most useful feature...i could tell you stories...
* it offers a variety of download statistics for your uploaded files. very interesting to see what people enjoy...
* you can decide on which server you want to upload the files
* your waiting time doesn't get activated as long as your downloads stay below 150MB. compare that to rapidshare. if you download a 10MB file, you have to wait for your next download, even though your maximum limit is 100MB. use megaupload with some common sense and you can download about 650MB without waiting time. also, both of you don't seem to know that getting a new ip helps you to circumvent the waiting time
* you have full control over your files

LOL, it's all good.  Actually, I'm mistaken, I forgot you used megaupload, so that makes two.  Being an uploader is a pain in the ass sometimes, and megaupload makes it easier.

Just go into wherever your modem is located, turn it off, wait a minute or two and turn it back on.  New IP.  Or, use a proxy.  Both work perfect.

i don't even have to wait a minute. i just reconnect and get a new ip, but i guess some isp's handle reconnects different. proxies are a good way to fool the limit too, but since they are so painstakingly slow, they are only useful if you either just want a small file, or you can't reconnect because you wait for an important download to start, or if you pay for a high speed proxy, but then you might as well pay for megaupload :P
