So I've had an old model 1 genesis sitting around for months now, finally just started buying some games for it. I've so far got sonic, sonic 2, rocket knight, eternal champions, shining force, golden axe, streets of rage and shinobi.
I need some suggestions as to what games to pick up next.
Here's my wish list for the near future:
mean bean machine
x-men
cool spot
ms pac man
castlevania bloodlines
shining force 2
street fighter 2
forgotten worlds
phantasy star iv
castle of illusion
landstalker
light crusader
gunstar heroes
strider

I have a copy of phantasy star 4, not in the case though, I also have 2 and 3 wich are in the case. forgot to mention I also found sword of vermillion in the case as well with the book for 3 dollars I had to grab that. I have a few more to. Phantasy star 3 in the case is my most prized possesion !!!!!!!! If my house were to burn down the first things I would grab would be phantasy star 3 and 2. Why ? I dont know

Shining Force? It's not about can't, it's about how I feel like playing. RPG's don't interest me because of how many battles I can get into, I enjoy the genre for the stories. Furthermore, the only first person games I play are generally Elder Scrolls.

@ Steve
Do you like Phantasy Star 3? I never played very much of it but it seems to get a lot of hate.

yeah its a good game, Only thing is it can be confusing, The dungeons are very repetitive you can get lost easily, I remember when I had the phantasy star collection for gba I got pretty far in 3, Then back tracked a little, I stopped playing for about a month, Decided one day to pick the game up and realized, wow.......I have no idea what im supposed to now... because I back tracked in the middle of what I was already doing  ;D

I'm really digging PS4, it's a shame I never got into the series before now. I think I might pick up the other games after I'm done.

If you manage to come across a copy of any of the phantasy stars for sega genesis you should definetly grab them, They're hard to find unless you get them online. I remember when I was living in new york absolutely NO retro video game shops had any of the phantasy stars I looked for them ever since I was twelve before ebay and amazon....Then one day I went to this place called dragons den and there it was phantasy star III in the case I Was like whoooooa, But anyway I moved down to S.C. And found them in a game shop the second day I moved down here, Not only did they have II and III but they had III in the case..........with extra copies...........I forgot to mention that the copy of III I came across up in new york they wanted like 40 dollars for it.... I got II and III for 10 bucks each, The people at the game store were really cool and told me if they come across the manuals they would hold on to them for me.

Finally picked up x-men in the box. :D Too bad X-men 2 is so pricey, that's another great one from my childhood.
