I QUICK INFO ABOUT Lunar Silver Star Story COPIED FROM SEGAGAGADOMAIN.COM:"Lunar started it's life back on the Mega CD and quickly gained what could only be described as the Sega equivalent as Square's Final Fantasy fan base on the Super Famicom. Lunar is by Game Arts who were probably the ONLY company that really used the Mega CD's potential. Even Sega themselves didn't use the Mega CD as well as Game Arts did.
Now we have the Saturn port of Lunar Silver Star Story which features all that made the Mega CD game such a hit but now with far better audio and visuals. It's been a very long time since I've played this game but from what I remember it was magical in every respect. There is also a Lunar 2 and Lunar Magic School for the Saturn and well as a Lunar MPEG Edition which features beautiful full screen FMV cut scenes unlike this version which as them all boxed with decent quality but no where near MPEG standards. Sadly the Lunar franchise has been left to rot after Game Arts joined up with ESP along with Treasure and a few other developers. Since then Game Arts have never been the same. Lunar Silver Star Story was released on the GBA not so long ago but I think that what we all wanted was a new Lunar adventure."
II QUICK INFO ABOUT Lunar Silver Star Story COPIED FROM WIKIPEDIA:"Lunar: The Silver Star (ルナ~サ・シルバースター ,Runa Za Shirubā Sutā?) is a role-playing video game developed by Game Arts and Studio Alex for the Sega Mega-CD console. Originally released in Japan on June 16, 1992 to critical acclaim, the game was translated and released in English by Working Designs the following year. Designed as a "different kind of RPG",[1] Lunar: The Silver Star made use of the up-and-coming disc format by featuring CD-quality audio, video playback, and voice acting to narrate a fantasy story set in a magical world. As the number one selling Mega-CD title in Japan, the game sold nearly as many copies as the system itself, and remains the second highest-selling Mega-CD title of all time.[2] The first game in the Lunar series, it set the standard for other follow-up titles, and was followed by a direct sequel, Lunar: Eternal Blue in 1994."
