Yup saturn was the only one that had protection, Meaning you needed a mod chip or swap trick to play backups.

THE ONLY reason Dreamcast failed is because of pirating, screw every other theory XD

lol, doubt it, everyone had dialup internet back then.  It was on its way out by year 2000.

I remember getting CorelDraw 3 from a local "pirate" BBS back in the 80's on my "souped up" 386/DX40 on a 2400 baud modem...  it was 13 (800k 3.5") floppy discs.  It took me 13 nights to get it cause we were all only allowed 1 hour a day (traffic problems) and it took actually about an hour and 10 or 15 minutes - I got permission from the Sysop to go over my limit to at least get a full disc each night...  I finally GOT IT ALL - was in PIG HEAVEN - just loading the sample picture of the Indian Headdress on a 386/DX40 took almost 20 minutes to draw it all.  I had 8-megs of RAM!

I ran it on that machine for about a year before finally getting a new 486 - designed for the printing business I worked for like mad on that lil' sucker too...

There's nothing sweeter than a vintage tube amp and nothing finer than an old dude pushin' it hard.

thats why o-rars were split into 20mb files. Ipretty sure its 20mb files, I havent downloaded a dc game in months. but anyways, 20mb on dial up = 1 night of download. repeat that process for 2 weeks or what ever and you got a dc game fo free.

I also bet if they has used dvds it probably would of done alot better.
