« on: January 13, 2008, 11:26:29 PM »
so i burned ferrari challenge and it works on the dc. then i tried res evil 3 and alcohol gives me the old "something is wrong with the recording procedure" a couple seconds after i start the burn. so i try a couple times and decide its probly corrupt and so i move on to shemnue disc 1 with the same results, and i may have tried another game i duno. then i was tryin to burn cd with music and it doesnt want to. so i duno if im doin something wrong or if my computers just bein a bitch, but im over this dam ferrari game i need somehtin new

Discjuggler is a pretty unstable program I installed once, tried, uninstalled then threw away FOREVER. However, if both that and alcohol are giving you a similar message it can be one of three things

1. Your PC needs to be restarted (has it been on for long?) Try this first.
2. Your cd's are cheap and nasty and should be replaced with higher quality discs. ( The most likely reason, the Ferrari disc was a fluke)
4. Your burner is dying. (Least likely)

I'm not even going to assume it was a bad image as you tried several and even to burn music and it failed. I'd bet my bottom dollar its one of these three things

No DJ always says that with self booting images and so do some other programmes. Tell it not to correct the errors and burn anyway. I have always used shit disks and had no problems.
