hey, long time listener, first time caller.

i really wanna play this game but i'm having problems. when i unrar the folders instead of a couple cdi's for each disc, i get two lots of 37 files representing each disc. as they're not recognised images, DiscJuggler is dealing me out all kinds of annoying justice. i'm not sure what the hell to do.

please help me!

Whats the file extension on those files? Maybe they're 7zip or something? I'd download it myself and try it out for ya but rapidshare is really slow.

haha, yeah. I've bought countless controller that weren't working properly only to open them up and find all sorts of crap in the joystick and the buttons and stuff.

Yeah I got the 2 cdi for this game. the problem is the game won't boot. I use bootdreams to burn sega games. I don't know what else to do, all it does is re-boot dreamcast everytime I try. I really do want to play this game. My dreamcast is NTSC U 1. I have burn a few other DC games from this great site, but now I'm having a problem with this game. I tried A and B disc and it will not work. one quick note I also had the same problem with mortal kombat gold.

this game is already selfboot, you should burn it with alcohol 120% or discjuggler

bootdreams was made to make games selfboot

if you have nero you can use "cdi2nero" to convert cdi images to nero format

oh ya, if you need a copy of any of those programs just personal messages and i can probably

Yeah I'll try discjuggler later today. I heard something about discjuggler not able to burn over 700 mb and resident evil is over the limit, unless its not true.

Okay I got it to work now thanks. I just want to say which is best way to view mode for ntsc tv 4:3.?

Dream Resurrection or DCRES is a project maintained by TuxTheWise. I could save a lot of space re-linking redundant files, so I didn't have to downsample anything
like in my other release. Enjoy full quality media.

This game, like a lot others, keep checking the start of the second session when loading files. It
results in slower loading times and more reader movement. In non-CDDA games, I can easily "fix" it
by moving the last session start with 2 data sessions. In CDDA games, however, I had no control
over it. Fortunately I was able to merge a data track with the audio tracks, moving the session
start as I wish. It's a great step optimizing games, and it will help me a lot in future CDDA
releases. Expect a great performance increase in this game thanks to this new technique.

Features of my release:
- Not corrupted files at all, it was made with GD dump files.
- Used custom DCRES optimization techniques. It means faster loadings and less Dreamcast reader
noise.
- Selfboot.

Ripped: Nothing.
Downsampled: Videos downsampled.
Source: GD dump.

Note that this release was made with the european version, but it has 50/60hz select screen and
works wonderful on the american console. It works fine with VGA Box too. This game was the first
one where I used VBR (variable bitrate) on videos, what means better quality than stardard CBR
(constant) downsampling. I compared the original videos with the downsampled ones and I couldn't
notice any difference (yes, the original videos have crap quality too). I let the sound of the
videos untouched, it was already bad enough (22khz? Bad). Other files are intact. I made some
little changes in GD file order, but the original one was already nicely optimized. For some
reason, this game has two short CDDA tracks that I have no idea where they play. I took a look on
Kalisto's release, and used their layout to burn CDDA tracks, so they must play nice. Have fun.
