Personally I'm always Toad in Mario 2. He picks things up the fastest.

As for favorite game characters off the top of my head:
Solid Snake
Guybrush Threepwood
Mario
Crono (besides pretty much the entire Chrono Trigger cast)

The 4th one was definately different. I barely even played it. The 3D was just such a change, but it still had the humor of the series.

It wasn't as solid of a game as say, the new Sam and Max games. I'm a big fan of point and click (with a sense of humor, I fucking HATE Myst).

That's the first time I've even heard of Zack and Wiki. That sounds like just the kinda of game I wanna play on the Wii.

lucasarts will never make another 2d point and click adventure, they just don't sell well enough thease days. which is a real shame, their graphic adventures were by far my favorite games growing up.

If Mario Galaxy didn't drop when it did, Z&W would have taken Wii GOTY. For real.

Not taking anything away from Z&W but it had zero promotion. The only reason anyone bought it is because of good reviews. Had it had a decent marketing platform behind it, it probably would be a huge hit.

in the world of fighters, I do say Mitsurugi dominates. soul cal has the best cast of fighters for me lately.
