quick question Can utopia run burnt selfboot games. cause whenever I put one in it just loads forever. But when I put in an original disk it boots up fine.

Does it have to be non-selfboot?

You will only need this to boot games that are not selfboot.  You can burn this with Alcohol 120% at the slowest speed possible.

Most games on this site do not need this disc though, you just burn the download, pop it in the Dreamcast and play.

Utopia boot disc 1.5 is fake, the latest real version is 1.1.

Yeah, it's fine, it's not official though, that's what I meant by it being fake.

Anything after 1.1 is not official and doesn't have any benefits at all.

I posted this in the Cannon Spike thread, but I wanted to post it here to to see if I might get more answers.

"I need some help unpacking these.  I'm using Alcohol 120% and WinRAR, but I can't seem to convert these files into CDI's.  I've tried Discjuggler too, but I'm having trouble because these files are separated and not one single file.  Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated."

I really want 'The Last Hope', 'Cannon Spike', 'Bangai-O', and the 'Kill Bill Vol. 1'.  I really need help on how to get these games to burn.

Open the .001 file with winrar and you should find your image in there.

All archives on this site should open with winrar or occasionally 7zip if a P2M download.

When I open the .001 it makes a CDI file, but it doesn't go into the folder I try extracting it to.  It keeps asking me to insert a disk with the next volume.  Is the CDi file that it makes sent to the Temp folder...and can I burn it from there?

It sounds like you don't have all the rars in the same directory.
