Resident Evil 5 demo

So I've been playing it, and I think it's a shoe in for game of the year. There's just 2 areas in the demo so who knows, but damn! It's one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a loong time!

Did you play 4?It's great, but IMO it's nothing new.I even thhink they used the same animations from 4.

I played the shit out of 4, on gamecube and then all over again on wii. And at first I would have agreed with you, I thought it was just a rehashing or re4. But I kept playing and it really just uses 4 as a starting point for the game mechanics and takes off with it. For some reason it reminds me almost as much of MGS4 as it does RE4. Probably the only new game I'll buy all year.

Works as 4, and its good, but i really expected a better control scheme and mechanics, i mean was hoping to, if not shooting but reload while walking/running at least. And a running button?, ok its resident evil but is not more a survival game its a heavy action franchise now, so controls should go in that direction too. Anyway ill buy it asap as a RE whore i am XD.

The graphics are top notch, beats GoW series by a long shot. The Co Op is an awesome addition, Capcom was shooting for a Co Op experience, and to still have that horror experience at the same time. Definitely a rent for me ...

Yeah I've played the hell out of the co op mode. My dad even played it with me for a while, though he was pissed i made him be the chick.
