wow thanks for all the RE-UPS.  Just got this one.  Nice work! You don't have OUTTRIGGER by chance do ya'?  Would love that one - I tried over and over to download the one here but it has CRC errors...
There's nothing sweeter than a vintage tube amp and nothing finer than an old dude pushin' it hard.

Cannon Spike
Dream Resurrection

Dream Resurrection or DCRES is a project maintained by TuxTheWise. The goal is making high quality releases with custom optimization techniques. Please always see readme files of each game, they always have important information.

===================================================================================================
                           Dreamcast Resurrection - 2010 (since 2008)
===================================================================================================
Check for more releases at these forums (search for user "TuxTheWise"):
snesorama.us (all releases, see my signature)
segahub.org (recent releases)
dreamcast-talk.com (recent releases)
===================================================================================================
NOTE: I've seen some people uploading my releases in other servers. I recommend you always getting
my releases of my uploads in the forums above, because sometimes I release fixes or re-launch some
games that have problems. If you get my uploads you'll be sure of having the latest releases.
Additionally, you'll get the original package, not images made from discs, so you'll be sure that
nothing is corrupted.
===================================================================================================
---------------------
Cannon Spike (NTSC-U)
---------------------
Ripped: Nothing.
Downsampled: Nothing.
Source: GD dump.

=== ATTENTION: ===
You need to execute the "unpack.bat" before burning, it will unpack the .ecm file and create your
.cdi image.

If you need to apply any patch, do it in the unpacked .cdi file, not in the .ecm file.
==================

It's interesting how I never played or even heard about this game, it seemed a great shooter, at
least for the short time that I tested it.

PAL users, apply the included patch to make this game work in 60hz, else it will work in 50hz.
Thanks to Captain Dreamcast for testing the PAL behavior for me.

Have fun.

Features of my release:
- Not corrupted files at all, it was made with GD dump files.
- Used custom DCRES optimization techniques. It means faster loadings and less Dreamcast reader
noise.
- Selfboot.

About the game:
- It has VGA Box support.

Other comments:
- "Extras" folder in the pack contains some useless stuff.
- Release comes with covers.

Checking files:
Save the text below with .sfv extension and open with any SFV checker. I recommend RapidCRC.
Code: [Select]
cannon_dcres.7z AF36FAFA

Extracting files:
Use 7-zip. For unpacking the RAR files inside archive, you can use WinRAR.

Burning files:
Alcohol 120% probably can burn all extensions, but I recommend Disc Juggler for CDI files.
