Germany advises its citizens to stay away from IE

Due to the recent attacks on Google Germany is advising its citizens to no longer use IE sense it has a security flaw that was one of the ways how Google has been attacked. They say to stay away from version 6, 7, and 8 but they should just stay away from IE period. If your running even IE 7 there must be something wrong with you.

Is it getting dark in here, or is it just me?

IE 8 isn't that bad... it's a little laggy when you open up new tabs, but the UI is good. Of course Firefox and Google Chrome are better, but at least IE8 isn't a sin like IE6 was at its time.
