Extracting files:
Use 7-zip. For unpacking the RAR files inside archive, you can use WinRAR.

Burning files:
Alcohol 120% probably can burn all extensions, but I recommend Disc Juggler for CDI files.

Re-Volt
Dream Resurrection

Dream Resurrection or DCRES is a project maintained by TuxTheWise. The goal is making high quality releases with custom optimization techniques. Please always see readme files of each game, they always have important information.

Review by IGN

Readme file:
Code: [Select]
===================================================================================================
                           Dreamcast Resurrection - 2010 (since 2008)
===================================================================================================
Check for more releases at these forums (search for user "TuxTheWise"):
snesorama.us (all releases, see my signature)
segahub.org (recent releases)
dreamcast-talk.com (recent releases)
===================================================================================================
NOTE: I've seen some people uploading my releases in other servers. I recommend you always getting
my releases of my uploads in the forums above, because sometimes I release fixes or re-launch some
games that have problems. If you get my uploads you'll be sure of having the latest releases.
Additionally, you'll get the original package, not images made from discs, so you'll be sure that
nothing is corrupted.
===================================================================================================
----------------
Re-Volt (NTSC-U)
----------------
Ripped: Nothing.
Downsampled: Nothing.
Source: GD dump.

=== ATTENTION: ===
You need to execute the "unpack.bat" before burning, it will unpack the .ecm file and create your
.cdi image.

If you need to apply any patch, do it in the unpacked .cdi file, not in the .ecm file.
==================

I always wanted to release this underrated title, but everytime I tried to work on it some other
project appeared and I had to put Re-Volt at side. Well, it's ready now.

PAL users, apply the included patch to make the game work in 60hz on your consoles, else it will
boot in 50hz.

This game has less than 100mb of data, and because of CDDA and dummy tracks, the start of second
session is very close to the end of the disc. Because of that, some consoles may have trouble
recognizing this disc, although I'm pretty sure it will work fine for you. Anyway, for those
having problems, I included a directory "remastering" in the pack with files and instructions of
how to remaster the disc so it will work fine on every console. The performance loss of the
remastered disc shouldn't be too big.

Enjoy this nice game.

Features of my release:
- Not corrupted files at all, it was made with GD dump files.
- Used custom DCRES optimization techniques. It means faster loadings and less Dreamcast reader
noise.
- Selfboot.

About the game:
- It has VGA Box support.

Other comments:
- "Extras" folder in the pack contains some useless stuff.
- Release comes with covers.
