I ask this cause I dont want to continue my plan on the blackberry, I want to make it a prepay phone.

I don't think so, but if you open up the back of your phone and you notice this:

See that weird SD card-sized compartment on the bottom there? If your phone has that you can do prepaid ...

Other than that, which provider are you with?

Yeah I think that phones are locked to providers rather than prepaid/ non prepaid (I am assuming that is pay-as-you-go / contract).

If you go down the market there will probably be someone who unlocks phones. There always is over here.

You can try to unlock the phone if you have a SIM slot like what I showed you but be careful because you only have an estimated 3-5 chances to do it right.

You can use a prepaid sim in a contract phone as long as they are the same network, Otherwise like others have said you would have to get unlocked. Some phones can only be unlocked now by the network provider usually for a fee.

Usually, if a phone is supported by a wireless network, you can just switch the SIM card out.
