now through the second. Massive deals. Just thought I would post here so if you have a computer and want a ton of games take a look at steam. Yeah you have to pay for them but nowhere near normal prices. Some deals on there. I think some of these may be 1 day deals
2K pack including Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Borderlands with all expansions, all the Civilization games, Mafia 1, Mafia 2 with expansions, MLB 2K10, NBA 2K10 and 11, and lots of other games for 80 dollars.
Bethesda pack including Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Oblivion, Morrowind, Call of Cthulhu for 70 dollars.
Rockstar pack including all the GTAs, Max Payne 1 and 2, Wild Metal, Midnight Club 2, Manhunt, Bully for 40 dollars.
Unreal pack including all Unreal games except for UT2003 for 15 dollars.
Valve pack including Half-Life and all expansions, Half-Life 2 and all expansions, Counterstrike, CS Source, Day of Defeat, DoD source, Team Fortress, TF2, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Portal and one or two other things for 50 dollars.

Steam charge £14+VAT for Quake 3. What a pisstake.
-
You missed that sale last night, 10 dollars for the quake collection including 1 through Team Arena and all expansions.
-
Still far too much, especially when you can play it for free at quakelive.
-
true enough, I played there for a while and now I have q3 on the 360. How awesome would it be to play between 360 PC and DC, even though the pc players would murder the console players.
-
I'll throw my 2 cents in here, I think the only good Quake was the first one. I hated Quake 2, although I did have a bit of fun playing quake 3 with my dad when it came out.
-
my first time playing Q2 I liked it, but after replaying recently it isn't all I thought it was.
Oh and one advantage of having the game on steam is the ability to play with mods, skins, and different levels than what quakelive has.
-
Is that really worth £14 for a 10 year old game? Playing with different skins?
-
Maybe not, but it would be worth a few bucks to me. I wanted to buy just q3a but they didn't have that on sale by itself so it would have actually been 20 dollars. lol.
its not just different skins, like I said its the other mods and levels you can download or even make. That is what got me into quake and unreal in the first place, infinite customization.

I played Q3 with some of my buddies a few weeks ago and it was still as fun as it was back then. The controlls is what got to us though. Moving with the ABXY buttons just seemed wrong.
