So is this just automatically emulated when played on the DC, like with bleemed games?

Yes and emulation speed is full speed (has even frameskip) . I`ve played some neo4all emulated games and it`s fully playable unlike most of bleemed games .

Neo4all is certainly one of the best homebrew ever made for Dreamcast. I still have hope that Chui will still show more progress on his projects some day in the future.
