But heres the catch. It gives this lovely E74 error, has no hard drive, no power adapter, no controller, and no games. It was free. But hey it's still a cool decoration for my room. It looks good next to the Dreamcast, Gamecube, and PS2 (PS2 is messed up too).

You could try to send it in to MS with a red ring error and they can replace it free of charge, then you'll REALLY have something to talk about :)

It's not the red ring of death though... The red ring of death is the E73 error and if I do send it in it'll cost me $100 which I'm not gonna have for a while.

It's happened a couple times to me before that I'd get some error that only caused my xbox to freeze (not red ring), and I still sent it in as red ring and they replaced it with no problems or suspicions. Not sure how they do it now. But can you imagine working there and actually having to turn each xbox on to make sure it has the symptom the owner sent it in for? I can't. That's why I think it actually worked for me that way.

lol, are we still calling it next gen? Isn't it current gen? ;D. I recently got a Wii myself. Mainly to play GC games off of the hard drive.
