Title: Megaman Anniversary Collection VS roms.
Post by: Biggie578 on October 25, 2008, 10:44:16 AM
I just borrowed the megaman anniversay collection from a buddy b/c i want to play all the originals. I was reading reviews on the collection and Im wondering if you guys recommend that I play the collection on my tv with a nintendo controller or if It would be "better" (to get the true experience) to play the orignal ROMs on an emulator with either a xbox 360 or PS2 pad. The only advantage i see to the collection is the fact that I can play it on a tv (which tends to be worlds better than a emulator fullscreened) and the unlockables (which i dont even really care about). Your thoughts?

Run an emulator with the PC connected to the TV

Neither of those options are really optimal.  I'd say its a toss-up.

You want the optimal setup, get a pc crt monitor w/ the original roms; and use an NES usb pad.

(i prefer a Saturn usb pad; but if you want to stay as close to the originals...)
